During a performance what balances the relationship that the artist manages to create with the audience and the outside world? What affects and influences the performative act? TROP gets through the forest of symbols, messages, languages and images from the contemporary world with sophistication and irony. The body of the artist is left to confront itself with this media flow, on its own, in the presence only of the spectator’s eye. Video-images break through the space, create new rhythms and then disappear in order to leave the field to the body and to an original body language which is the signature style of this young artist living in Tel Aviv who studied abroad with some of the best companies of the contemporary scene, such as Batsheva Company and Cullberg Ballet. Martini leads a rigorous and innovative choreographic path that makes him one of the young talents not to be missed.
