The verbal flow of Proust’s Recherce and the imagination of Vilhelm Hammershøi, the painter of silence, inspire the theatrical universe of Aure, where characters lacking any background details, locked in a room, echo in the lives of each member of the audience, thanks to the explosive contradiction of a detached aesthetics which provokes quivering emotions.
