The performance examines the “process of learning” through the student’s exercise: in time and through practice he’s going to become teacher/king. A transposition between prince and musician, both sons of immense fathers. Everything always starts from a question: “how much do I have to study, maestro, to become a good player?”. How much can practice and exercise blend into one another to such an extent that they become natural? A journey between notes and words, melodies and sounds on the shores of a fairy tale which is part of the Germanic tradition. A powerful and terrible fairy tale, as well as a delicate and enchanting one.
