This show is the attempt to reach a person.
Gihan I is a young Egyptian blogger, Two years ago, like hundreds of thousands of her fellow citizens, she lived through a revolution. Starting from the first image of February 11th, 2011, in which Gihan is interviewd in Tahrir Square, until today’s tweets through which Gihan tells of her life in Cairo under military coup, Muta Imago try to trace a personal and collective story, recollecting and manipulating the traces of a life that happens faraway from us but we feel so close to ours.

_TRAILER VIDEO_

Muta Imago is an project of artistic research founded in Rome in 2006 by Claudia Sorace and Riccardo Fazi. It is made by all the people that has been and will be involved in each and every project. Over the years the group has produced shows, performances and installations which investigate the relationship between human being, space and time. The group is actually working on the connections between traces and identity and on the interferences between art and reality, investigating ways in which they can meet in a sense that could be fertile for both.
