The excercise of the table-football_CHORAL CONCERT
A project by Elisa Gandini and Davide Fabbri, performed by Dario Neri
The musical patrimony I received from my father consists of a few simple elements, lost by the threshold of a remote past, with faded shapes. Materialized through the perception and listening of the sound of things, by doing, by experiencing the whirlwind of such elements all together. Its virtue is gone into the table-football field, between the walls of an oratory. The sound of the substance becomes something else, translated into a concert, shots of life. Amid shrieks and silence, in everlasting suspension between the game and the battle. Between encouragement and free involvement. A project by Elisa Gandini, in collaboration with Davide Fabbri. Performed by Dario Neri.
Free listener, user, producer of electronic music and DJ, Davide is the artistic director of Diagonal Loft Club. He’s the sound curator for Città di Ebla. Elisa is an artist. Precision, the peculiar style of her behaviour, becomes custom and method both in her own works (Braun Eva and Ballet Domestique among others) and in the tasks she carries out in Città di Ebla’s productions. They have been asking themselves questions about Ipercorpo’s musical matter for years. They show up for exams on time.
Dario Neri, born in 1974 in Tuscany, now lives in Forlì. He’s a son to Luigi, women’s shoes designer, and Diva, housewife and seamstress. Davide and Dante’s younger brother. Elisa’s husband and Margherita’s father. Multi-instrumentalist musician and sound engineer. He loves music, but, even more than that, he loves sound and the physical and emotional laws which compose its warp and woof. He has had numerous collaborations with Italian artists, foreign artists on tour, festivals and clubs to his name. Among his latest solo projects: Macchine Sonore, Tavolo Sonoro and Chordae.
